This car has been carefully restored by someone who knows Cougars. Specific details of the restoration process can be viewed at the KTL website. Pictures are provided to give some indication of the quality of the restoration, but they really don't do this car justice. If you are seriously interested, arrange to come see the car or better yet drive it.

The car has been painted the original paint color Sea Foam Green (paint code "O", Ford #2040-A).

Notice the original styled steel wheels with XR7-G center caps.

Here is a closeup of the original front valance with the original Lucas Fog Lights.

As can be seen in the photo above, the XR7-G has a distinctive fiberglass hood scoop and hood pins with cables.

Here is the original XR7-G bullet shaped mirror.

A closeup of the distinctive tailpipe and special chrome cut-out.

The car also came equipped with the factory sunroof. The roof has been restored to perfect working condition. This is your chance to own a piece of cougar history. Only 431 XR7-G's were produced with the sunroof option.

The original "J-code" 302-4V engine. Rebuilt to factory specifications and runs like a champ. Notice the original running cat valve covers that were part of the XR7-G package.

Here is the door tag with the "special performance vehicle" designation. Other features can be seen in the Marti Report provided below:

The underside of the car is immaculate.

The picture above shows attention to detail on the underside of the car.

The original suspension has been restored to factory specifications.

The front disc brakes provide effective stopping power.

You will not find a cleaner set of rear drum brakes.

The interior of the car is luxuriously appointed and has many features unique to the XR7-G.

The pristine center console even includes the special wrench for the sunroof.

Here is a closer shot of the drivers side. Notice the fit and finish.

I will be happy to work with prospective buyers to arrange a local inspection of this vehicle.

Please feel free to call me at (434)685-7353 between the hours of 9 AM and 9 PM Eastern time to discuss the car in person as needed.
