The KTL family has lost one of its key members. Tom Lawrance passed away on April 6, 2014 after a 16 month courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. His legacy with Cougar restorations will long be remembered. Our son, Kurtis, after 10 years of tutelage from Tom, will be stepping up to the helm and continuing his father’s legacy. Kurt’s Restoration and Collision is underway in the same shop, same phone number, and same quality of workmanship. On behalf of all of KTL, we would like to thank all of our clients for their support during our 10-year successful run in the business. Tom’s passion was to bring the old Cougars back to life, with the accolades and recognition deserved of a quality built car. One year from now, a 1970, 428 Eliminator, matching numbers, competition gold will be brought to auction. It will be a tribute car for Tom, restored by our son Kurt, and the last car off the KTL block. Once again, thank you for supporting my husband’s God given talents.

Sincerely, Pam Lawrance.

We use high quality products and go the extra mile to make sure your restoration work is done correctly. We strip every project to the bare metal in order to deal with hiding rust and other issues common in older cars. We cut out any rust and weld new metal where needed. All dings and dents are worked over and hammered out, very little filler used.

It's all about performance

We offer a complete in-house engine replacement service. No matter what the problem is, we can fix it. Our goal is to build you the best engine possible at the fairest price. Kurt will be glad to talk to anyone that has an engine-related problem or question.
